All the results and goals from the midweek games. We have two Division winners crowned!

Mid Week round up and we start with Tuesday 16 May 2023

We start with Division 1

Leamington Hibernian 0 Khalsa 5

Andy Campbell 2023

Andy Campbell 2023

A brace each for Ryan Sahota and Josh Mann, after Aaron Sahota started it all off after ten minutes. Khalsa keep the pressure on at the Top.

Long Itchington 1 Bishops Itchington 1

The long Men drop points but remain top of the Table. Craig Watkin had given Bishops a first half advantage and it took a Louis Mitchell strike in the last minute for Long Itchington to claw a point from the game.

On to Division 2

Dynamo Leamington 0 Heathcote Athletic 1

A solitary John Aston goal after fifteen minutes was the highlight here.

Princethorpe 2 Leamington Hib’s Reserves 7 (seven)

Harry Hartin led the way with a hat trick here as Hib’s chase down the Title. The rest were shared around by James Hancocks, George Bartlett, Daniel Kiernan and Ryan Butler. Hib’s are the only side unbeaten in the Division and are closing down their games in hand ruthlessly. Can they complete the season unbeaten?

We move on to Division 4

Stockton 1 Newbold 4
Two points separate the top four sides in Division four but Newbold sit top and have two games in hand. This was a tight one until the last five minutes when Stockton collapsed. Jordan Bedford had put Newbold ahead after the half hour mark. It took a Ryan Barnard goal just past the hour mark to get Stockton level but with five minutes remaining a brace in two minutes from Reece Mason crushed Stockton. To add insult to injury Ryan Palmer added another in the last minute to round it off.

We move on now to Thursday 18 May 2023
We start with Division 1. It’s the Title decider and it went with form.

Long Itchington 4 HRI Harbury 0

The Long Men were two up in the first half hour ish. Sam Crawford and Michael Clement getting the goals. That’s how it stayed until five minutes from time when Joe Tambini struck a third and the celebrations could start. Long Itchington are Division 1 Champions. With the Cancer Cup and The Challenge Cup already in the bag it’s been a Triple winning season for the Long Men. The Runners Up spot is not yet decided

We move on to Division 2

Leamington Hibernian Reserves 9 (nine) Pig and Fiddle 2

A Connor Smith brace was just consolation here as Leam Hib’s Reserves dominated and have now taken over top spot in the Table and still have games in hand. Ryan Butler led the way with a hat-trick. James Hancocks and Harry Davies grabbed a brace apiece. Harry Hartin and the venerable Ashley Kitchen rounded it all off. The Title is still up for grabs but Hib’s have one hand on the Trophy!

On to Division 4 and another Title decider. This one was a double header and again it went to form.

Newbold 4 Southam Sporting 3

Reece Mason on target within two minutes here to start Newbold on their way. Ryan Palmer added a second eight minutes later but Euan Jayes pulled one back for Southam two minutes later. Jordan Evetts extended the Newbold advantage on the half hour mark but Joshua Thomas struck for Southam just before the break to keep Southam in it. Thomas grabbed his second straight after the break to make it all square but Joe Wright slotted home from the penalty spot just before the hour mark to take the points.

Southam Sporting 0 Newbold 5

Newbold took control of this one and Southam failed to score. The goals were shared around. Jordan Bedford with the first after seven minutes. Ben Scandrett added three minutes later. Dan Holt then got the third seven minutes after that, and Jordan Evetts made it four after only twenty two minutes on the clock. Michael Byrne got the fifth on the stroke of half time and it was all done. Newbold cannot be overtaken and have a massive goal advantage so the Title is in the bag with two games remaining. Runners Up spot is still up for grabs. Newbold have had a great Season, and another side with a Triple Crown having already won the Division four Cup and the Andy Campbell Cup.
