League AGM and presentations.

The Tracey Thomas Leamington and District Sunday Football League held it's AGM this week.
The first item on the Agenda was the presentation of the annual awards. Grateful thanks go to Norman Stephens who came along to present the awards. Norman sponsors these awards in memory of his great friend Guy Reeve after whom the Golden Boot award is named. Norman is also a Vice President of the League.

The Awards were:

Best Club Secretary : Andy Smith Cubbington FC

Best Club Assistant Referee: Duncan Pomeroy Wellesbourne Wanderers FC

The Guy Reeve Memorial Trophy Leading Goalscorer: William Harte Kenilworth Royal Oak FC

The Sportsmanship Cup: Real Barston FC

The Goalscorers Cup : Newbold FC

The general business was conducted and agreed.

League President Andrew Meanley has now retired to Spain on a full time basis, so with our grateful thanks he has retired his position with the League. Andrew has been with the League for almost fifty years. We wish him well and hope he manages to find time to come back and visit us in the future.

Following a proposal and a vote David Finch was elected into the position of President of the League and he has graciously accepted.

All of the Committee positions were re-elected and voted in.

The new constitution for the four Divisions was agreed and they are attached in the document section.

The final date to have a minimum of 13 (thirteen) players signed before the start of the new 23-24 season is by Wednesday 2nd August.

The whole game system is now up and running for club and player registration and affiliation. Please get your clubs and players signed up as early as possible in case there are any problems.
