We move on to the George Dutton Charity Invitation Cup 2023-24 - Round 1

Bourton & Frankton FC 4 Massey Ferguson Sports&Soc 2
A very hard gruelling day for both sides. It started off scrappy but the game came into life when Jack King showed composure on the half hour mark to play a nice one two with Ross Davis, and with the Bourton keeper bearing down, King deftly rolled it home.
That’s how it stayed until half time.
Bourton and Frankton kicking down hill started off quicker in the second half.
An overload at the back post saw their first goal of the day.
Masseys restored the lead on the hour mark through good work down the right. Quinn Kings cross was headed in by Ross Davis.
Bourton equalised when a cross went in with help from the wind.
The winner came from a soft free kick which was lashed home.
The 4th came when every Masseys player came up for the corner.. the ball was knocked about the box. Hand ball claims were dismissed and the counter led to a goal. Bourton goal scorers were a brace for Jake Allies-Proctor, supported by singles from Daniel McManus and Tyler Reeve. Bourton progress into the next round.
