Player registration problems

By Mark Rowlatt

FA issues a statement regarding WGS.

We have received the following email from the FA with regard to the Whole Game system.

Thank you for your patience as we’ve worked to resolve the issues that you may have experienced with our systems. We know it’s a busy time as you prepare for the season and we appreciate the huge efforts you’ve made to date. Over 650,000 players have been registered, the highest number ever at this point in the year.

We’re pleased to say that the two issues previously flagged, related to the system not correctly recognising that a parent/carer is linked to a player and the page freezing when adding a new photo, have been resolved. We appreciate that some of you are still facing other issues; we’re focused on addressing them as quickly as possible. On top of this, we’ll continue to enhance the functionality and features we offer through both this and coming seasons.

To keep up to date with all our technology improvements and issue resolutions, don’t forget that you can visit our grassroots community forums for all the latest status updates and bug resolutions.

Kind regards,
