The latest results from week 2

Sunday 9 September 2018
The second week of the new Season and we have more goal fests. We start with Division 1 as usual.
Division 1

AFC Warwick 2 Radford Semele 0
AFC continue their good start with A home win over Radford. Daniel Long and Steven Sheepy getting the goals.

Khalsa 9 Lilington Juniors 0
Khalsa were 4-0 up by the break, and then added another 5 in the second half. Josh Mann kicked it off on 5 minutes, Dave Benton, Manjinder Dhaliwal, and Ricky Uppal with the first half goals. Stu Cooper, James Hancocks, Anvinder Thiara and a late 5 minute brace from Donovan Bernard wrapped things up.

Royal Oak United 0 Westlea Wanderers 2.
A Craig Watkin brace before half time were enough to see Westlea past the new boys.

We move on to Division 2

Dynamo Leamington 2 Ettington Rovers 4.
A Joseph Gomez strike put Dynamo in front, but James Lees grabbed an equaliser 4 minutes later. Chris Gow popped up on 60 minutes to restore the Dynamo advantage but Jordan Pearce and James Lees hit back within a minute to give Ettington the lead, and Carl Taylor struck 10 minutes later to seal the points for Ettington.


HRI Wellesbourne 1 Kineton S&SC 2

Strikes from James Keller and Liam Naven-Jones either side of half time were enough here as Vitor Machado grabbed the Veg Boys consolation.

Heathcote Athletic 1 Leamington FC Vets 3 .
Evergreen Chris Collier on target for Heathcote but it wasn’t enough as the Vets struck three, through Ross Jackson, Alan Robinson and Jimmy Quinn.

Long Itchington 5 Khalsa Reserves 0
A brace each for Sam Crawford and Charles Bush with a strike from Elliott Parasmo sandwiched in the middle were enough here.


Radford Albion 5 Real Barston 0

Jamie Lee on target on 9 minutes started Radford on their way. Brodie Cullinan, a brace from Sion Humphreys, and Daniel Burden saw Radford home.


We move on to Division 3

Bishops Tachbrook FC 2 Castle Rangers 0
Alister Wrist and Rhys Pugh maintain the strong start from Tachbrook.

Hampton Magna 1 Liberal Club C 1

A tight one here saw Matty Bemrose put the Liberals ahead, Jack Rees grabbing the Magna equaliser on 75 minutes.

Harbury 3 Princethorpe 1
Andy Cahill, Don Sibley and Ryan Butler doing the damage for Harbury as Joshua Cooke scored the consolation for Princethorpe.

VTS Warwick 2 Chadwick End 3
Matt Grace grabbed a couple and Connor McAndrew the other in a close game here. Tom Scott and Roberto Cuffini for VTS.

On to Division 4

Chadwick End Reserves 1 Stockton 1

Steven Ebdon struck the equaliser on 70 minutes from the spot, after John Ahearne had put Stockton ahead.

Leamington Hibernians Reserves 6 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 0
A Harry Davies hat-trick led the way here , Elliot Smith , Dalveer Varaich and Noah Cullinan grabbing the others

Lillington Juniors Reserves 2 Warwick Boar 5

Tommy Williams helped himself to 4 (four) here and still wasn’t top goal scorer of the week! Steve Nollett got the other for Boar.

Stockton United 11 Joiners Utd 1
Kody Neal gets Goal scorer of the week getting 5 (five) here as Joiners came unstuck . Dan Cornes was happy to grab a hat-trick, Adam Bourton a brace and Stefan Murphy a single. Elton Dias on hand for the Joiners consolation.

Whitnash United 1 Blackdown 3.

Abhishek Paul levelled for Whitnash after Blackdown had taken the lead through Adam Hughes. Two late strikes from Matthew Wright and a second from Hughes were enough to take the points back to Blackdown.
