Charter Standard Update

By Mark Rowlatt

Online first aid courses are the final step.

With the Corona virus preventing the final stages of Charter Standard for some clubs, the BCFA have agreed that if every club has at least one person complete the following two courses, they will qualify for the Charter Standard. I completed both courses last night in around an hour and a half, but you can do it bit by bit if that helps. Follow the link in the text below.

For those clubs who haven't started their Charter Standard process please contact myself or Steve Falp and we can send you the start up pack, or go online to the BCFA homesite and do it all from there.

There are significant benefits and it's not difficult.
This is a copy of the email that has gone to all clubs.

Mark.

Dear Club,

As you are aware Birmingham County FA have been working with us as a League to gain Charter Standard League status and by doing this we have been encouraging Clubs to become accredited. I am writing to you as a Club as you have completed all of the off pitch paperwork needed to become a Charter Standard Club and you are currently only missing out by not having an FA Qualified First Aider. As Birmingham County FA aren’t running any face to face courses, they are accepting applications as long as one individual from each team in your club completes the Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion Guideline modules which are free online courses. These courses can be found here: https://help.thefa.com/support/solutions/articles/7000040920-how-do-i-complete-the-fa-sudden-cardiac-arrest-and-concussion-e-learning-modules- and you access them by clicking the links.

Once completed if you e-mail Luke.Bowles@BirminghamFA.Com with copy of your certificates or Print Screens of completion then he will process your applications.

Thanks,

Luke Bowles
