All the results and goals from this weekend

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 26 September 2021. Week 4 and the Divisions start to shape up. We start as usual with Division 1

Bishops Itchington 4 Blackdown 4

A toe to toe battle here with the goals coming thick and fast. Craig Watkin put Bishops ahead after 10 minutes, but Sam Perry then replied twice in 20 minutes to give Blackdown the lead. Joel Bennett then made it all square just before the break. On the hour mark James Tighe restored the Blackdown lead only for Bennett to get his second and pull Bishops level again. With 10 minutes to go Ashley Bradbrook popped up to give Blackdown the advantage again and it looked as though the points were going to the away side, until with only 2 minutes left Josh Turton stuck one away to give Bishops a point


HRI Wellesbourne 0 Long Itchington 1

A close one here and settled by the odd goal from Sam Crawford after 23 minutes.

Leamington FC Vets 2 Khalsa 0

Andrew Hood on target for both the Vet’s strikes here as they climb to the Top of the table.


We move on to Division 2

Khalsa Reserves 1 Ettington Rovers 3

Charlie Watts put Khalsa in fron after 20 minutes but Ettington were level before half time through Oliver Stephens. Ettington then took the lead just after the break with a Carl Taylor goal and despite Khalsa pressure Ettington held on and a Kyle Nicholls goal 6 minutes into stoppage time clinched the points.


Princethorpe 0 Chadwick End 0

The rarity that is a Sunday League nil nil draw and Chadwick lose their 100% record as Princethorpe hold the Table toppers here.


Real Barston 0 Radford Albion 2

Two first half goals from Daniel Burden and Jamie Lee were enough here as Barston remain at the foot of the Table. Albion move up to 3rd spot.

We move on to Division 3

Hampton Magna 2 Harbury 3

Magna were pegged back twice before a late winner gives Harbury the points and they sit second in the Table. Nick Hill had given Magna the lead. Scott Watkin replied before half time. Tom Wyatt restored the Magna advantage just after the break Five minutes later and Rhys Pugh struck home a spot kick to bring Harbury level again. With eight minutes left Ruben Bastos grabbed the winner for Harbury

Radford Semele Social Club 5 Napton 5

Second fastest goal of the day here and it came from Will Bradbury to give Napton the lead. Five minutes later and Radford were level through David Ramsey. Ryan Fox then restored the Napton advantage but Ramsey grabbed his second before the break to make it all square. Paul Holland and Ramsey with his hat-trick then added for Radford to give them a two goal advantage, but within 15 minutes Napton were back in it through Aiden Print and Bradbury for his second. It still wasn’t finished! Thomas Rowe then grabbed a late one with ten minutes to go and Radford were going to take the points but Nathaniel Miller struck to give Napton a share of the spoils with five minutes left on the clock.

Sporting Foresters 3 Kenilworth Royal Oak 2

Sporting take the points here as the Woodsmen chopped down the Oak. Tom Bentley , Felix Nobes and Sam Rudge were the Woodsmen on target. Royal Oak marksmen were William Harte and Jacob Whitmore.

Warwick Printing 2 Cubbington FC 2

Conor Smith and Scott Smith had given the Printers the advantage here but two late goals in a four minute spell from Adam Canning and Jake Montgomery snatched a point for Cubbington and the Printers lose their 100% record.

And as usual we finish with Division 4

Cubbington Albion 3 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 0

The veg boys went home pointless after Albion took all three points here, to maintain the pressure at the top of the Table. Billy Gatfield , Luca Cardellino and game keeper turned poacher Lewis Papworth struck for the Albion.

Long Itchington Reserves 4 Whitnash Sports and Social Club 1

Matty Goodwin with the solitary Whitnash strike as the Longmen take the points to stay top of the tree. Reese Sangha with a brace with Will Shields and Chris McShane getting the others.


Southam Sporting 1 Bulldog 4

A brace apiece here for Mark Hickey and Abhisek Paul as Bulldog ran down new boys Sporting. Euan Jayes had put Sporting ahead after 10 minutes but Bulldog went straight back up the other end to level and controlled the second half with three goals without reply

Stockton 5 Sporting Club de Stratford 2

A close game for an hour and then Stockton took control in a twenty minute spell. Mitchell Coleman put Stockton in front, but George Dick had Stratford level 6 minutes later. Charlie King then restored the Stockton advantage and Malachy Rose extended it with another 8 minutes later. Haydn Ashworth then popped up on the hour mark to give Sporting a chance but four minutes later John Ahearne stuck another away for Stockton and that was followed by Josh Tolley getting another with eleven minutes left on the clock.

Upper Lighthorne 2 Wellesbourne Wanderers 0

Fastest goal of the day here as Luke Lowther struck home with only 3 minutes gone. George Green added a second twenty minutes later and that’s how it stayed
