All the results and goals from this weekend.

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 30th May 2021.
The final round of matches took place this weekend and with the Vets game on Monday not going ahead, we have the Final tables, including the epic end to the Division 3 season where the Title was decided in a stunning comeback at Chadwick End.
We start this week with that Division 3 Title decider and it was a thriller!

Chadwick End 5 Leamington Hibs Res 3
Hibs were out of the blocks from the off and Chadwick under pressure knew they needed the win to confirm the Title. The jittery Chadwick start was compounded when Scott Hammond stuck two away and Emmanuel Atugo then popped up to make it 0 – 3 to Hibs inside 19 minutes. Chadwick were stunned. This was not the plan. The comeback started with a bang and six minutes later they registered on the scoreboard. Adam Williams nets, followed shortly by Niall McIlduff. Five minutes later and Chadwick are level with a 35yard screamer from Rhys Edwards and then just before the break Chadwick score again to take the lead for the first time in the match through Williams second goal. Half Time 4 – 3.
The second half started with Chadwick now playing down the slope. From the kick off some neat passing and it ends up down the left wing and the cross is blocked for the corner. In it comes to be met with a thumping header by Rhys Edwards into the roof of the net for his second.
Chadwick had several chances to extend the lead but they all went begging and the Hibs keeper came out to make a fine save at the feet of George Curry. Hibs kept pressing but couldn’t create the openings needed.
Martin Watkin blew the final whistle and it’s all over and Chadwick take the Division 3 Champions Title.

We continue with the remaining Division 3 fixture.
Princethorpe 4 Cubbington FC 2

Princethorpe had too much here for Cubbington but it was still a game to watch as results might’ve changed the way the Table finished. The first half finished one apiece with goals from Ben Rothwell and Jon Spencer . Rothwell put Princethorpe ahead just after the break and Callum Carsley added a third ten minutes later. Luke Swinnerton pulled one back for Cubbington but Thomas Pugh grabbed a fourth for Princethorpe with ten minutes left to seal the points. Princethorpe take third spot and Cubbington finish fourth.

We move on to Division 1(A)

Ettington Rovers 2 Radford Albion 4
Albion were 0 - 3 up by half time here with goals from Sion Humphries and a Brodie Cullinan brace. William Clark pulled one back for Ettington just after the hour mark but Cullinan struck back inside five minutes to restore the three goal advantage. Tom Gardener got another for Ettington with only four minutes left and that’s how it stayed.

We move on to Division 1(B)

Bishops Tachbrook 3 AFC Warwick 2
All square at half time with goals from Scott Watkin and Salvatore Mannina . Two goals in a twenty minute spell gave Tachbrook the advantage but an 80th minute penalty from George Ferridge made it a nervy finish. Joseph Bushnell and Craig Williams with the other Bishops goals

And we finish with Division 4 which ends in a disjointed fashion due to the COVID lock down but we do have a Table.

Long Itchington Reserves 0 Wellesbourne Wanderers 5
Henry Ford was in the driving seat here and it wasn’t all black! Ford helped himself to four goals in this one sided game and the fifth was added by Ben Adler with two minutes to go. A great finish by the Wellesbourne youngsters.

Napton 0 Foresters 1

Foresters take Runners up spot in the Table but Napton made them work for it. Only one goal coming from Dan Brown was enough for the Woodmen to complete their Season and the likelyhood of Radford slipping up at Roma was remote. A good end to the season, and both teams have been good ambassadors for the Division.

Radford Semele Social Club 7 (seven) Romer FC 0

A one sided affair here as Radford secured Top spot . Paul Wilkinson led the way with a hat-trick. David Ramsey grabbed a brace, George Ayley and Michael Wallace getting the others. Congratulation also go to Romer who have battled through their first Season with pride and determination.

Stockton 4 Castle Rangers 3
A mid table clash here and Stockton take the points. Jack Ball got a brace for Rangers and Michael Perks the other.
