Weekly Round up. It's Week 10. .

All the results and goals from this weekend.

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 7 November 2021. It’s week 10 and we have League and Cup matches to report. We start as usual with the Cup Competitions and that means we start with the Division 1 Cup 2021-22, sponsored by Anthony Eden Gents Hairdresser - Semi-Final

Bishops Itchington 4 Heathcote Athletic 0
Bishops were made to work for this one and all the goals came in a thirty minute second half spell. Josh Turton got the ball rolling after the break,
Jay Morgan added five minutes later, a rare Thomas Cooper strike with fifteen minutes to go and Johnny Adair completed the scoring with five minutes left to go. Bishops are into the Division 1 Cup Final.

On to the Division 2 Cup 2021-22, sponsored by friends of Rowan Fitzgerald - Semi-Final

Chadwick End 7 Khalsa Reserves 2
Terrance Morton led the way with a hat-trick here and Chadwick had done the hard work and were four – nil up by half time. Sam Lange and Mark Turner getting the other first half strikes. Turner popped up with another shortly into the second half. Khalsa struck back with two penalty kicks in six minutes, both struck home by Parminder Atwal. James Brady then completed the scoring with Chadwick going into the Division 2 Cup Final.


Engine FC 1 Princethorpe 1

A tight one here as expected and it remained one apiece at the end of normal time. Rhys Tummey on target for The Engine. And so to Penalty kicks and it took the odd one to settle the result and Engine FC win 5 - 4 on penalties.
Engine go through to the Division 2 Cup Final to meet fellow unbeaten side Chadwick End in what might also be a League and Cup double for either side.

We move on to the Division 3 Cup 2021-22, sponsored by Nick Chambers, in memory of his father Chris, Semi-Final

Cubbington FC 4 Foresters 2
A Jack Gibson hat-trick here with his first on the board inside six minutes. Stephen Woolerton made it two – nil before half time. Gibson struck twice more after the re-start. A late Adam Smith consolation followed by an own goal two minutes later gave the Foresters a glimmer of hope but it was too little too late and Cubbington FC progress into the Division 3 Cup Final.

We move on to the Division 4 Cup 2021-22, sponsored by Spa Trophies - Round 1

Stockton 1 Kenilworth Wardens 7
The Dan Twigger show here as he struck four times to lead the Wardens into the next round. A Josh Tolley strike on fourty two minutes was the only Stockton consolation. Ben Edmunds , Toby Wells and Thomas Holmes were the other Wardens marksmen. Wardens into the next round.

And we finish our Cup games with the Division 4 Cup 2021-22, sponsored by Spa Trophies - Semi-Final

Wellesbourne Wanderers 2 Bulldog 2
Daryl Johnson with the fastest goal of the day on four minutes to put the Wanderers in front. George Bryan then struck to extend the lead . With six minutes to go before the break and up popped James Walsh to give Bulldog some hope. Just on the hour mark and Walsh struck again to make it all square and that’s how it stayed. So to penalty kicks.
Bulldog win 3 - 5 on penalties. Bulldog go into the Division 4 Cup Final.

We move on now to League action and we start with Division 2

AFC Warwick 7 Ettington Rovers 1
A Glen Matthew consolation after only eighteen minutes kept Etting in touch, but AFC piled it on and it was wrapped up by half time. Marco Olive grabbed a hat-trick, and a brace apiece for George Ferridge and Melvinino Mauritson doing the damage. AFC move into second spot in the Table.

Radford Albion 2 Dynamo Leamington 4
Dynamo were three – nil up through Nicholas Kajkowski, Ash Rowley and Roberto Ciuffini after thirty five minutes. Barry Hobbins pulled one back just before the break and Paul Murray got a second for Radford just after the break. Ciuffini then restored the two goal advantage five minutes later and that’s how it stayed

On to Division 3

Hampton Magna 1 Leamington Hibs Resrves 3
Hibs maintain their 100% record here but they had to do it coming from behind to a Nathan Stoute goal for Magna after fifteen minutes. Scott Hammond had Hibs level by half time. Harry Davies and Hammond with his second late on settled the deal.


Harbury 2 Napton 4

Nip and Tuck here until the later stages. Dean Pugh and Ruben Bastos foir Harbury, Chris Watts and Will Bradbury for Napton. The second half went to Napton as Watts struck with his second penalty of the match and Aiden print then finished things off with five minutes left on the clock.


Kenilworth Royal Oak 3 Sporting Foresters 1

Sam Ballard with the second fastest goal of the day here and with the late brace from Sam Ballard it was enough to see off the Woodmen. Three valuable points for the Oak.

We finish as usual with Division 4

Long Itchington Reserves 2 Cubbington Albion 9 (nine)
The Long Men took an early lead here through William Morby . It would be eighty minutes before they scored a second goal. In the meantime Cubbington smashed home nine, with Ross Quartermaine leading the way with four. Dan Bates chipped in with a brace. Connor Wilson, Ryan Yearsley and Lewis Papworth grabbing the others. Joe Stefani-Rogers with the late Long Men consolation. Albion stay Top of the Table


Southam Sporting 1 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 5

The Veg boys were already four goals to the good by the time James Davis struck home a thirty fifth minute penalty for Southam. Luke Sangha with a brace , Tom Jones and Craig Setchell the Veg boys goal scorers. Sangha added another for his hat-trick before half time and that was the end of the goal action. The second half remained goal less so that’s how it finished.

Whitnash Sports & Social Club 1 Upper Lighthorne 1
These two are close in the Table and that’s how this game went. Matty Goodwin with the early goal to put Whitnash ahead, Scott Steele with the Lighthorne reply before half time. That’s how it stayed.
