The results and goals from this weeks action.

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 6 October 2019, and we start with the Cup games.

Division 1 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by Anthony Eden Gents Hairdresser - Round 1

AFC Warwick 2 Kineton Sports and Social 2
AFC went ahead from a Henry Oyenuga strike on 10 minutes but Jamie Vadasz levelled before half time. Kineton took the lead with 10 minutes to go as Vadasz grabbed his second. It looked as though Kineton were through, until the 90th minute when up popped John Bawn to make it all square again , and so to penalty kicks.
Kineton S&SC win 1 - 4 on penalties.

HRI Wellesbourne 0 Khalsa 7 (seven)
It was the Sukhraj Nijjar show here as the Veg boys were mashed by 5 of the best from Nijjar . His hat-trick was on the sheet inside 25 minutes. He scored twice more in the second half, along with Michael Johnson and Narinder Sari . Khalsa progress.


Heathcote Athletic 1 Westlea wanderers 8

A Darren Saul consolation on 80minutes was too little too late here as Westlea marched into the next round. Josh Cole with a brace, Elliott Powell also had a brace, the others were shared around by Joe Wright, Scott Hammond, Craig Watkin and Shae O'Loughlin.

We move on to the Division 2 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by friends of Rowan Fitzgerald - Round 2

Khalsa Reserves 1 Hampton Magna 3
Fastest goal of the day here for Adam Timlin on 2 minutes. Ryan Woodward doubled the lead on 25 minutes but Sukhraj Heer pulled one back just before the break. Woodward grabbed his second with 15 minutes left to seal the tie. Magna progress.

Long Itchington 2 Bishops Tachbrook 1
Three first half goals here and the scoring was done. Elliott Parasmo started it off for the Long Men, only for Drew –Lewis Smith to equalise 2 minutes later. Sam Crawford popped up with the winner shortly before half time. The long men go through into the next round.

Radford Albion 0 Real Barston 1
A tight one here and the only goal of the game came on 30 minutes with a Robert Moss effort taking Barston into the next round.

We move on to the Division 3 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by Nick Chambers in memory of his father Chris - Round 2

Blackdown 5 Liberal Club C 2
The liberals went ahead with the second fastest goal of the day from Richard Clarke. Matty Bemrose doubled the lead on 15 minutes, Conor Chamberlaine pulled one back on 30 minutes, and that’s how it stayed until half time. The Blackdown team talk was clearly an inspiration. The second half was all Blackdown As they scored 4 without reply. Chamberlaine got his second, the others coming from Ryan Oldham , Scott Hughes and Jamie Campton . Blackdown progress.


Engine FC 8 Snitterfield 0

This was all one way traffic here as the Engine rolled through the Snitterfield defences. Ethan Bryan led the way with a hat-trick. John Simpson notched a brace in an 8 minute spell. Rhys Tummey, William Benton and Harry Hancock getting the others. The Engine go into the hat.

Warwick Printing 4 Leam Hibs Reserves 3
Connor Carson grabbed a hat-trick here but still ended up on the losing side. A brace apiece from Emmanuel Atugo and Josh Tiff were enough to see the Printers into the next round

We round off the Cup action with Division 4 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by Spa Trophies - Round 2

Foresters 4 Long Itchington Reserves 1
A Jordan Bedford strike had put Foresters ahead on 27 minutes. The game came alive late into the second half. Max Conceicao pulled the Long Men level on 75 minutes. The next 13 minutes saw Foresters grab control and three goals to take the tie. Jack Lovett, Mark Hickey and Joshua Marshall with the goals. Foresters progress.

Stockton 5 Stockton United 0
The goals were shared around here as United were seen off by Stockton. George Bousfield, Ryan Barnard, Richie Davies , Malachy Rose and Steven Deaking were the Stockton marksmen. Stockton go into the hat.


We move on to League action now and with all the Cup matches played we only have one game from Division 1

Bishops Itchington 2 Leamington FC Vets 4
The Vets move into Third spot in the table with this win. Goals from Adam Miles and Joseph Williams were not enough for Bishops. The Vets had a Jack Maguire brace and strikes from Ross Jackson and Butho Sibanda to thanks for the points.

With no League games in Division 2 and Division 3 we go straight to Division 4

Bishops Tachbrook Reserves 1 Castle Rangers 5
Rangers were 0 – 4 up in the first half. Three goals in the first 19 minutes. Lee Watton, George Green and Paul Saunders on the sheet. Green grabbed his second on the half hour mark. Cory Turner pulled one back on 74 minutes but it was too little too late. With 3 minutes left on the clock Saunders got his second and the Rangers took the points.

Napton 14 (Fourteen) Sands United 2
Seven Napton players on the scoresheet here as Sands were swept away. Chris Watts led the way with 7 (seven). Bailey Searle had a brace. The others coming from Ryan Fox, Taylor Allen, Hallem Searle, Billy Davidson and George McGowan. James Welsby the Sands goalscorer with a brace.

Warwickshire Police 3 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 1
A lee Owen hat-trick was enough here as the cops took advantage of the other teams at the top of the table on Cup duty. A late consolation from Christopher Carlin with a glancing header from a free kick was not enough for the Veg boys. The Cops go top of the table but have played more games.
