Latest update on re-start and meeting notes.

By Mark Rowlatt

Following the Management meeting on Tuesday 28th July 2020.

The meeting started with a lengthy discussion on COVID 19 and it's implications.

ALL Clubs must have prepared a Risk Assessment prior to the commencement of training and matches.
Steve has circulated an example of the type of RA that needs to be completed. Other Clubs are also going to show examples of what they have prepared. Good practice will mean that the RA will have to be updated on a regular basis. All players and officials from all clubs are asked to make themselves aware of the guidelines published by the FA the BCFA the Government COVID sites and Health England.

The League are looking at a start date for the Season 20/21 to be from October 4th, with only League fixtures to be played until the end of December. This needs to be ratified by Clubs at the virtual EGM which is to be held on Tuesday 11th August .

All clubs are reminded to get their signing on forms back to Joe asap. Clubs are also reminded that we are going to try the WGS for signing on this season so clubs are asked to look at getting that done as well.

A vote on the new Divisional lineups will also be held at the EGM, and the process of merging Divisions 1 and 2 then splitting them into 1 and 1a. Then from Season 21-22 the teams will again be split to form a new Division 1 and 2.

We are continuing to work through these difficult times but please rest assured we will try to get everything back up and running as soon as we safely can in these difficult circumstances.

Mark.
