Final round-up

Season Round up and we have a midweek result to start with from Tuesday 28 May 2024

Division 1(B)
Long Itchington 2 Cubbington Albion 5

A brace from Joe Bridge-Browne and singles from Alex Witchell, Billy Gatfield and Charlie Cleaver were enough to take all three points from the Long Men here.

So to round-up our season we start with Division 1A and the Title was won by Leamington Hib’s Reserves who have completed a League and Cup double this season. Bishops Itchington were a close second with a single point difference.

Division 1B was won by Leamington Hib’s with a five point margin over Cubbington Albion who completed their season coming Runners up in the League and finalists in the Divisional Cup.

The Division 3 Title went to Wellesbourne Wanderers in a four way chase that went to the wire. HRI Harbury took second place in the League and also took home the Division 3 Cup.

The Division 4 Title was won at a canter by Massey Ferguson Sports and Social Club in their first season with us. Bowling Green were Runners Up and AFC Snitterfield surprised everyone in their first season beating Massey’s in the Divisional Cup final.

Congratulations to all teams who have helped us to complete this season. We are already working on the League for next season, and we will be welcoming some new teams but also saying goodbye to others. We have said goodbye to some old friends and we have welcomed some new ones.
As a final reminder to club secretaries don’t forget to let Steve Falp know if you intend to continue in the League. Rule 11a which should have been done by the end of March!
