Weekly Round up 3

All the results and goals from the games this weekend.

Weekly round- up time and it’s week 3. Sunday 19th September 2021. We start as usual with Division 1

Bishops Itchington 2 Heathcote Athletic 3
A second half Thomas O'Callaghan brace was not enough for Bishops here as Heathcote took a 2 – 0 lead at the break. O’Callaghan pulled them level but Nick Keenan got his second with 10 minutes to go to take the points for Heathcote. Kristoffer Burbury with the other Heathcote strike.


Blackdown 2 Leamington FC Vets 1

Ross Jackson on target for the Vet’s but Samuel Perry had put Blackdown in front on 12 minutes. A very late winner from Liam Blake with only a minute left on the clock saw Blackdown away with the points.


HRI Wellesbourne 1 Khalsa 0

It was all done in 5 minutes here as Charlie Mitchell struck to put the veg boys in front after only 5 minutes play. That’s how it stayed. .

Long Itchington 2 Leamington Hibs 0
Two first half goals from Michael Clement and Bradley Allbone did the damage here as the Long Men take the points.

We move on to Division 2

Chadwick End 9 Khalsa Reserves 1
One way traffic here as Chadwick put Khalsa to the sword. Sam Lange led the way with a hat-trick. Tom Tarbuck and James Brady had a brace apiece, Dan Rist and Mark Turner were the other Chadwick marksmen. Shamir Entezar with the 75th minute consolation for Khalsa.

Dynamo Leamington 1 Princethorpe 1
It took an hour here for the fuse to light and Ashley Rowley struck first to put Dynamo ahead. Aaron Williams struck back for Princethorpe with 15 minutes left on the clock and made it all square and that’s how it stayed.

Ettington Rovers 2 AFC Warwick 5
AFC took a two goal lead here through Melvinino Mauritson with a brace in a 10 minute spell. Goals either side of half time from Jordan Robinson and Amine Bouhall pulled Ettington right back into it. With 20 minutes left AFC took control and struck three times without reply through Salvatore Mannina, Marco Oliver and George Ferridge.


Radford Albion 0 Engine FC 2

Engine continue their smooth running, taking the points here with two second half goals from Sean Povey and Luca Valle

We move on to Division 3

Harbury 5 Foresters 3
Foresters off to a blinder here with the second fastest goal of the day from Joshua Marshall on 2 minutes , swiftly followed by a Joe Wright brace in a 4 minute spell to give the Woodmen a three goal advantage inside 10 minutes! It still wasn’t enough! Harbury pulled two back before half time via Emmanuel Atugo and Max Hubbard. The second half then belonged to Harbury as Ben Sharman , Max Hubbard for his brace and Drew Smith completed the Harbury come back


Kenilworth Royal Oak 0 Warwick Printing 3

The Royal Oak still finding it tough in Division 3 as the Printers take the points home to Warwick. Conor Smith struck twice, Scott O'Loughlin with the other.

Napton 2 Sporting Foresters 4
Fastest goal of the day was for Napton with a Chris Watts strike in the first minute. Ryan Fox with the Napton second but the Sporting Foresters were on the charge and goals from Daniel Eykyn, Felix Nobes , Tom Kirwan and Liam Miller doing the damage.for the Woodmen.

And finally Division 4

Kenilworth Wardens 5 Upper Lighthorne 0
Two new sides battled this one out and the Kenilworth team came out on top. All the goals coming in the second half. Toby Wells led the way with a brace. Charlie Waters, Joe Ferraz and an own goal making up the others


Sporting Club de Stratford 2 Long Itchington Reserves 5

A hat-trick here for Cale Sunner inside the first 25 minutes had sealed Sportings fate. Two early second half goals from Reece Sangha and Edward Davies put the tie beyond doubt. Zack Palmer and Jack Reidy then popped up with two late goals for Sporting but it was too little too late.

Wellesbourne Wanderers 6 Bulldog 3
Bulldog were held on the leash by Wellesbourne here as the Wanderers struck 5 without reply. Bulldog then scored twice in 2 minutes but Wellesbourne struck straight back to restore the 4 goal advantage. The wanderers scorers were , Henry Ford , a George Deeley brace, Jake Faulkner , Alastair Loughton , and Aaron Mobley. On target for Bulldog were James Walsh , Abhishek Paul and James Walsh.

Whitnash Sports & Social Club 3 Cubbington Albion 2
A game of two halves here. The first belonged to Whitnash. Three goals from Eamonn O'Brien who got a brace and Galilee Wirdman. Albion came back in the second half with two late strikes from Max Gough and Billy Gatfield but it wasn’t enough.
