By now ALL clubs should have appointed a COVID Officer who will be a point of contact in all matters COVID. Every Club should also have a Risk Assessment in place. Please confirm with Steve Falp that you have these arranged and notify who the COVID CONTACT IS ALONG WITH A CONTACT NUMBER.
A new addition now required for every club is that you should go onto the Government COVID Website, and specifically a new section on the use of QR CODES. ALL CLUBS MUST REGISTER FOR AN OFFICIAL QR CODE, which is to help the NHS Test and Trace. You should then be able to download a poster specifically for your club which is then used for persons attending games including players, officials and spectators.
This system will save the keeping of paper records for each individual who can scan the QR code.
If the individual cannot scan the QR code for any reason then continue with keeping your paper records for 21 days.
THE POSTER WITH YOUR QR CODE SHOULD BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED AT THE GROUND. (you can have more than one!)
YOU MUST ALL STILL CONTINUE WITH THE PRE MATCH MEASURES, SOCIAL DISTANCING ASKING THE 5 QUESTIONS AND IF YOU HAVE DECIDED IN YOUR RISK ASSESSMENT TO IMPLEMENT TEMP CHECKS PLEASE CONTINUE to do so.
We are very close to another lockdown, so please adhere to the guidelines.
If you are unsure about anything go to the BCFA website, or the FA or Government COVID sites for further information.
The FA site has a very good "frequently asked questions " page.
At this time players in a lockdown area are allowed to travel outside their lockdown area to play football.
