By Mark Rowlatt

Tragic death of young player Charlie Watts.

Following the tragic death of Chalie Watts we are supporting a fund raising match is taking place on Saturday 17th September between AFC Warwick and Khalsa, to raise funds following the sad death of Charlie, who was only 20 years old.

He loved his football and enjoyed playing in the Leamington and District Sunday Football League, where he played for Khalsa and more recently AFC Warwick.

The two clubs have come together to help Charlie’s family raise some funds for ongoing costs, such as the funeral.

Gary Hammersley Manager of AFC Warwick said "It would be great to see as many people at the match as possible, to help support the game. Charlie was a great lad and had so much to live for it's such a tragedy"

The match will be played at Southam FC, 5pm kick off and the entrance fee will be £3.

There is a gofundme page open if you are unable to make the game and would like to make a donation.
