Weekly Roundup. 3rd December.

This week see's the whole League programme wiped out because of the heavy snow fall. Due to technical issues I have re-done last weeks roundup to fill the space.

We start this week’s review with a look at the Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup Round 3

AFC Warwick 1 Warwick Cavern 5
Dan Gummery started the ball rolling with a strike on 2 minutes to put AFC in front. Eight minutes later and AFC were 1-2 down as Scott Hughes and Stacey Ellis replied for Cavern. By the half time whistle Cavern had taken control with goals from Marco Oliver, Matt Saunders and Scott Hughes grabbing a second.

Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 17-18 - Round 1

Dynamo Leamington 4 Kineton Sports and Social 1
Kineton went ahead from James Mair on 35 minutes, Dynamo levelled just before half time through Ryan Woodward. Ash Rowley then bagged a brace with Joseph Gomez also notching to put Dynamo into the next round.

HRI Wellesbourne 1 Bishops Itchington 4
Jason Bradshaw grabbed an early brace inside 10 minutes, and strikes by Mathew Hughes and Johnny Adair for Bishops took the honours here, with Vitor Machado getting the HRI consolation.

Heathcote Athletic 2 Khalsa 5
Chris Collier and James Bye put Heathcote 2 up inside 25 minutes, but David Benton turned on the Khalsa show with 4 goals supported by an Anvinder Thiara strike to put Khalsa into the next round.

Radford Semele 7 (seven) Athletico Murphy’s 2
A first minute strike from Mathew Buckham started Radford off here. Paul Wilkinson made it 2 on 16 minutes and Buckham got his second on 24 minutes. Athletico struck back with a Ben Smith strike on 28 minutes, but Radford made it 4 just before half time as Mark Anderson got onto the sheet. The second half belonged to George Ayley who completed a hat trick in 26 minutes to finish the job.

Khalsa Reserves 1 Midland Rangers 10 (ten)
Marc Passey grabbed four, James Bramwell and Thomas Williams a brace apiece, Steve Nollett and Andrew Smith one each to roll over Khalsa reserves, who battled on to grab a late consolation from Arundeep Sodhi.

Leamington FC Vets 2 Warwick Printing 2
Phillip Davies and Lee Constable for the Vets. Connor Kenny and Terry Bayliss for the Printers.
Warwick Printing go through 3 - 4 on penalties.

Onto League Action now and we start with only 1 fixture from Division 1

Harbury Albion 2 Westlea Wanderers 4

Westlea were 2-0 up by 30 minutes, but Harbury fought back to level by 65 minutes. Two late strikes in the last 12 minutes from Ryan Billington and Craig Watkin took the points for Westlea who remain in top slot on goal difference from Bishops Itchington.

Division 3

Chadwick End 1 Royal Oak United 10 (ten)

Nial McIlduff put Chadwick ahead with a 20 minute strike, but it was all one way from then on. Josh Goodwin and Wesley Klopper got hat tricks, Michael Glover a brace , with Glenn Ewing and Mitchell Elliott getting the others. Royal Oak are 2 points clear at the top after 7 games.

Grist Mill 4 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 2

Jason and Ben Brown, Thomas Scott and Thomas Wyatt doing the damage here for the Millers. Carl Ellard and Jamie Richards replying for the veg boys.

Hampton Magna 5 Foresters Arms 3
Foresters were leading 3 – 2 going into the last 25 minutes, but a Josh Tiff brace and a Daljeet Johal strike sealed the points for Magna. Thomas Wright and Wendal Moyo were Magna’s other goal scorers. Mathew Jones and a Joseph Fisher brace for the Foresters.

Lillington Juniors 4 Ettington Rovers 2

Juniors stormed into a 3 – 0 lead inside 18 minutes with a Jordan Bedford brace and a Nathan Winwood strike. Ettington struck back twice before half time with a Carl Taylor brace but despite the pressure Juniors held on and Tariq El Hage wrapped it up with a 75th minute strike. Juniors stay second in the table 2 points behind Royal Oak.

Castle Rangers 0 Long Itchington 1

A tight mid table clash this one. The only difference was a Sam Crawford goal on 77 minutes to take the points for Long Itch.

Princethorpe 7 (seven) Lillington Juniors Reserves 0
A Sam Rose Hat trick and one from Charles Bush doing the damage here. Princethorpe move up to 5th in the table.

Stockton United 0 Warwick Boar 8
Well! What a way to take your first League win of the Season! Michael Byrne and Ryan Heydon grabbed a brace apiece. Stockton were hanging on until the last 10 minutes when 4 late strikes made it look very one sided. Daniel Masters, Shane Mills, Adam Coles and Alex Badger getting the others.
