Weekly round-up for Sunday 25 April 2021
We start as usual with Division 1(A)

Bishops Itchington 4 Khalsa 0
It was all second half action here as Khalsa were always in it for the first half. Craig Lawrence broke the deadlock shortly after the re-start. Jon Byrne popped up with another 10 minutes later, followed by John Beacham-Sharpe and with 5 minutes left Joshua Turton wrapped it up. Bishops remain Top and look odds on for the Title.

Ettington Rovers 4 Dynamo leamington 5
A right ding dong here as the sides were level 2 apiece at half time. Elliot Durbin and Tom Gardener on the mark for Ettington. Ash Rowley and Ryan Yearsley for Dynamo. Yearsley then grabbed another brace to get his hat trick and put Dynamo into a 2 goal lead only for Amine Bouhali and Matthew Toms to grab two quick replies to level the score again. With 8 minutes left on the clock young Aaron Rowley popped up to nick the points for Dynamo.

Long Itchington 2 Heathcote Athletic 3
Michael Clement put the Long Men in front after 7 minutes but replies from Ben Edmunds and John Aston had Heathcote in front by the break. Oladeji Sorinola then scored to get the Long men all square again, only for Nick Keenan to slot home a 75th minute penalty to give Heathcote the points and they move above the Long Men into second spot in the table.

We move on to Division 1(B)

Bishops Tachbrook 1 Blackdown 1
Two Top 4 sides and it was another tight one. Liam Rossiter had put Tachbrook ahead early in the second half. A late strike from Robin Griffin with only 2 minutes to go gave Blackdown some relief and a consolation point to keep second spot.

Khalsa Reserves 2 Leamington Hibernian 4

Khalsa took the laed through Bruno Seguin after 15 minutes, but Hibs struck back and were level 5 minutes later. The second half was all Hibs with three strikes from Josh Bailey, David Jones and Ashley Kitchen. Gurdeep Dulay with a late consolation for Khalsa.

Leamington FC Vets 2 AFC Warwick 1

A brace from Jamie Barr were enough here but it was a tight one. Sam Collins with a late consolation for AFC made for an interesting last 5 minutes.

We move on to Division 3

Chadwick End 5 Warwickshire Police 2
The reverse of last weeks fixture but the same end result. Mark Turner helped himself to a hat-trick with Adam Williams and Oliver Senior bagging the other Chadwick goals. Calvin Moore and Ben Pedley on target for the Cops. Chadwick squeeze up on the top two in the table with a game in hand.

Engine FC 1 Cubbington FC 3

It was a Top two battle but the Engine seem to have lost their spark. Sam Ashford put Cubbington in front after only 5 minutes. Stan Moss levelled 10 minutes later, but two second half strikes from Luke Swinnerton and Ashford getting his second were enough to put the brakes on the Engine. It’s gonna be a close one here!

Leamington Hibernian Reserves 0 Warwick Printing 0

That rarity of a Sunday morning nil nil draw here.

Sporting Warwick 1 Princethorpe 7 (seven)
It was all one way traffic here as Callum Carsley led the way with a first half hat-trick followed by a second half brace! Jake Allies-Proctor and Joshua Cooke adding to the scoresheet. Steven Nollett with the late Warwick consolation.

We move on to Division 4

Harbury Albion 0 Wellesbourne Wanderers 2
A mid table battle here and the youngsters came out on top. Strikes from Max Dale and Jordan Band in the first half were enough to take the points back to Wellesbourne.

Napton 3 Hampton Magna Reseves 2
Magna led by 2 clear goals at half time through Jordan O ‘Keefe and Trav Lea. Napton then took control of the second half with a quick brace from Aiden Print inside the first 6 minutes of the re-start to level things off. With only 7 minutes left on the clock David Margetts popped up to grab the points for Napton.

Radford Semele Social Club 3 Whitnash Sports and Social Club 1

Fastest goal of the day here for David Ramsey in the first minute to put Radford ahead. Lee Watton made it 2 after 15 minutes. James Robertson pulled one back on 67 minutes but Paul Wilkinson sealed the points 7 minutes later.

Romer FC 0 Castle Rangers 4
One way traffic here as Gagandeep Pahl grabbed a brace, Jack Ball and Jamie Leahy got the others.

Stockton 3 Long Itchington Res 2

The village derby here and Stockton came away with the points. They were 3 – 0 up by half time with goals from Haydn Chaundry and a brace from Ryan Barnard inside 2 minutes! Edward Davies and Isaac Tse made it interesting later on but Stockton held on for the win.
