The results and goals from today.

Weekly Round up for Sunday 1 November 2020 We start as usual with Division 1(A)

Ettington Rovers 1 Long Itchington 3
A late consolation here for Rovers from Elliot Durbin but the Long Men had the points wrapped up through an Elliott Parasmo brace and one from Sam Crawford.

Heathcote Athletic 1 Radford Albion 1
Heathcote salvaged a last minute point here thanks to Chris Collier. Jamie Lee had put Radford ahead with only 15 minutes left on the clock.

We move on to Division 1(B)

Blackdown 2 Hampton Magna 2
Fastest goal of the day here for Scott Hughes on 2 minutes swiftly followed by Jamie Campton 3 minutes later to give Blackdown an early lead. Jamie Barnes pulled one back for Magna before half time. New signing Tommy Wyatt made it all square on the hour mark and that’s how it stated. Blackdown lose ground on the leading two in the Table.

HRI Wellesbourne 2 Bishops Tachbrook 0
A second half brace from Greg Eales was enough here to keep HRI’s 100% record intact and keep the pressure on Hibs at the Top of the Table.

Leamington Hibernian 6 Khalsa Reserves 0
Hibs retain Top spot and their 100% record with this win. A brace from Kyle King led the way. Carl Smedley, Saul Dawson, Jack Marsden and David Jones getting the others.

Real Barston 1 AFC Warwick 1
A Matt Gillett penalty just before half time put Barston ahead. Salvatore Mannina responded with another penalty to equalise on the hour mark. That was it!


We move on to Division 3

Cubbington FC (Was Liberal Club C ) 4 Leamington Hibs Reserves 1 Cubbington had done all the hard work before half time. Goals from Luke Swinnerton , Craig Reeves , Sam Ashford and Jack Gibson doing the damage. Hibs won the second half with a solitary Mitchell Williams goal but the points went back to Cubbington who sit second in the Table.


Engine FC 6 Sporting Warwick 1

The Engine continues to purr and they maintain their 100% record with three points here from lowly Sporting. Rhys Tummey started it off on 5 minutes. Steven Evans bagged a brace. Matthew Wright, Lewis Barry and Jordan Simpson got the others. Steven Nollett on target for the late Sporting consolation.


Princethorpe 1 Chadwick End 4

Chadwick now look like they are firing on all cylinders and Adam Williams led the way with a hat-trick. Callum Carsley with a strike on 10 minutes had kept the Princethorpe hopes alive but Samuel Lange also netted for Chadwick to seal the points.

Warwickshire Police 4 Warwick Printing 0
Elliot Percival with the second fastest goal of the day here as the Cops finally get some points on the board. They still sit at the bottom of the Table but Manager Paul Luke said” At last we were firing on all cylinders like a V8 today” Thomas Dobson , Daniel Stanton and Stephen Flavell getting the others.

We finally move on to Division 4

Castle Rangers 4 Napton 0

Unbeaten Napton undone here by Rangers who had not won a game until today. A brace from Paul Saunders and goals from Jamie Leahy and George Green were enough to take the points


Hampton Magna Reserves 2 HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 1

Cory Turner had put Magna in front in the 4th minute and the second came from Oliver Benn early in the second half. The veg boys consolatuion came at the death from Jordan White in the 90th minute.


Long Itchington Reserves 7 Romer 2

The Long Men take their first win of the season with new signing Cale Sunner-Ford and Liam Murphy leading the way with a hat-trick apiece. Navi Bhamra another new signing also stuck one away. Romer also had two new boys to thank for their goals Cameron R and Alex Chaplin


Radford Semele Social Club 2 Harbury Albion 0

A goal either side of half time here was enough for Radford . Lee Watton and Steven Formosa the Radford target men who maintain their 100% record and keep the pressure on at the Top of the Table.

Wellesbourne Wanderers 3 Foresters 5
An eight minute spell saw the Woodmen storm into the lead with three goals from Joseph Wright, Dan Eyken and Dan Brown. Ben Adler pulled the Wanderers back into it with a Penalty on the stroke of half-time. Eyken grabbed his second early in the second half to restore the three goal advantage, but Kyle Needham scored a second for Wellesbourne. Eyken finally got his hat trick in the 65th minute and it looked over. Up popped Henry Ford with 4 minutes left on the clock to give the Wanderers some hope but it was all too late. Foresters stay in third spot, Wellesbourne just two places behind.

Whitnash Sports & Social Club 0 Stockton 1
A tight mid table clash here and only one goal in it. Calvin Farrar getting the solitary strike just before half time to give Stockton the three points.
