Latest Round up.

Latest round-up for Sunday 18 October 2020. We move to week three and almost a full program of fixtures. We start as usual with Division 1(A)

Ettington Rovers 5 Bishops Itchington 6

An amazing five goals in the first 30 minutes here. In that brief spell Tom Gardener had grabbed a brace and Kyle Nicholls also added for Ettington, with replies from John Beauchamp-Sharp and Joel Bennett. Five minutes later and Gardener bagged his hat-trick to extend the Ettington lead going into the break. The second half belonged to Bishops who had Josh Turton, Jordan Gill and Jamie Vadasz to thanks in a ten minute spell that saw them take the lead. With 15 minutes left on the clock Gardener grabbed his fourth to bring them all square, but five minutes later and Bishops were awarded a penalty which Thomas O'Callaghan finished neatly to the right of the keeper. Unlucky Tom Gardener gets four goals and still ends up on the losing side.

Khalsa 5 Heathcote Athletic 0
Josh Mann in a fine vein of form continued that run with a hat-trick here. Sukhraj Nijjar and Sundeep Kalsi getting the others. Two goals in the last five minutes might make it look one sided but Heathcote looked second best today.

Long Itchington 2 Dynamo Leamington 0
A late brace from Sam Crawford were enough here as the Long Men pick up three valuable points.

We move on to Division 1(B)

AFC Warwick 2 Leamington FC Vets 2
AFC concede a point here as Daniel Long and Charlie Gregory score for the Warwick boys and the Vets had a brace from Ross Jackson to thanks for keeping it all square.

Bishops Tachbrook 1 Khalsa Reserves 3
A tight first half which Tachbrook took with a single strike from Craig Williams just before the break. The second half belonged to Khalsa after Gurdeep Dulay and Sukhraj Heer both scored in a two minute spell, that was followed up by evergreen Tunde Ajibade getting in on the act with 8 minutes left on the clock.

Blackdown 2 Real Barston 1
Blackdown remain unbeaten with two first half goals enough here to take the points against Barston, who remain at the bottom of the table. Jedd Jones and Jamie Campton getting the Blackdown goals. Dave Jolly with a 65th minute penalty for Barston to keep them in it but Blackdown held on to take the points.

HRI Wellesbourne 2 Hampton Magna 1
Another close one here as Craig Bell put the veg boys ahead on the half hour. Magna equalised late into the second half through Adam Timlin but five minutes later and Bell had grabbed his second to restore the Veg boys advantage and they move above Magna in the table with a game in hand.

We move on to Division 3

Chadwick End 0 Engine FC 2
The Engine continue ticking over with three points here and second fastest goal of the day on 3 minutes from Thomas Payne. Lewis Barry stuck the second away on 55 minutes and that was that. Top of the table and unbeaten the Engine look impressive.

Liberal Club C 2 Warwick Printing 3
Two late goals from Liberals Jack Reeves and Jon Spencer were not enough here as the Printers hit three with Jason Thompson, Andy Cahill and Kylo Allen on the sheet. Printers up to Third in the table.

Princethorpe 8 Warwickshire Police 3
Fastest goal of the day here as Callum Carsley netted on 2 minutes. Shocking said one spectator! Carsley had his hat-trick inside 30 minutes and then allowed somebody else to score! Once Alex Mills had put one away Carsley added his fourth. Chris Finch popped up to net for the Cops before half time. The comeback resumed after the break when Lee Owen bagged a brace but it was too little too late. Three more goals from Mills, Ben Rothwell and Jack Howard finished the scoring and Princethorpe take second spot in the table. This new Cop side are still struggling to find their feet and remain rooted to the foot of the table

Sporting Warwick 2 Leamington Hibs Reserves 2
A tight mid table clash here and the first half remained goalless. Warwick surged ahead with two goals in 10 minutes but faded badly and Hibs responded with two goals in the last five minutes to steal a point Adam Edwards and Thomas Williams on the sheet for Warwick, Matt Nutt and Scott Hammond with the Hibs replies.

We end as usual with Division 4

Castle Rangers 2 Foresters 3
Second fastest goal of the day here for Sam Rudge and it gave the Foresters the perfect start. The Woodsmen were three up by 25 minutes and it looked all over. Scott Millar pulled one back on 35 minutes to keep Rangers in the hunt. Jack Ball then popped up just before the hour mark to make the last half hour interesting. Foresters held on to take the points. Joshua Marshall and Jamie Hickey were the other Foresters marksmen.

Hampton Magna Reserves 6 Romer FC 2
Magna reserves remain unbeaten here and stay Top of the table. Trav Lea adding to last week’s haul with a hat-trick. Cory Turner helped himself to a late brace with Josh Riches bagging the other one. New boys Romer are finding it tough but battled well and popped in for a couple of goals.

Harbury Albion 0 Napton 6
Another village Derby here and Napton took the Honours. Rhys Collins started the ball rolling on seven minutes then new signing Aiden Print scored to mark his debut. Joseph Merry and Jamie Clements also added and Christopher Watts grabbed a brace. Napton up to third in the table.

Radford Semele Social Club 3 Stockton 1
A Michael Wallace hat-trick here was enough to see Radford unbeaten and second in the table on goal difference only. Ryan Barnard with the Stockton reply.

Wellesbourne Wanderers 1 Long Itchington Res 0
New boys Wellesbourne sent the Long Men home pointless after a close game here. The only goal of the game coming in the 15th minute from Max Dale.

Whitnash Sports & Social Club 4 HRI Wellesbourne Res 2
A close mid table clash here and Whitnash came out on top. A James Smith brace for the Veg boys wasn’t enough as Alex Acklam started Whitnash on their way in the 7th minute. Douglas Reeves with a Penalty on 21 minutes and strikes from Benjamin Smith and Alex Acklam did the damage.
