Charity Cheque presentations

Last nights Council of Clubs meeting was preceeded by the annual presentation of cheques to two great causes. The Cheques were presented by League President Andrew Meanley

Nick Shacklock Chairman of the Community First Responders received a cheque for £450.00. Nick gave a presentation about the work that the First responders carry out which is all voluntary. Nick thanked the Clubs for their gratefully received donation.

Ian Jones representing Birmingham Childrens Hospital gratefuly received a cheque for £450.00. Ian's Granddaughter Amber received life saving Chemotherapy when she was only 7 months old, and is now on the road to recovery.

Congratulations to all the Clubs who raised this tremendous sum of money for two great causes
