This weeks highlights . Sunday 4th February 2018

Sunday 4th February 2018. Plenty of action this week despite the rain causing several games to be called off. We start as usual with the Cup Competitions.

Roberto Curilia started things off here on the half hour mark, but it then became the David Jones show as he piled in 4 goals in 30 minutes. Stockton grabbed two late consolations from Malachy Rose and Daniel Brown but it was too little too late.

Mark Anderson grabbed a hat trick, Paul Wilkinson and Jamie Duffy a brace apiece and Iain Groves got a single to see off Rangers here.

Khalsa 1 Dynamo Leamington 2
A Ryan Woodward brace was enough to see Dynamo into the next round , but a late Mathew Wootton strike with 8 minutes left gave Khalsa hope, but Dynamo held their nerve to go through.

Mid-Warwickshire Police 0 Long Itchington 4
Long Itch took no prisoners here and the Cops were arrested by 4 goals from Samuel Crawford Neil Milburn , Michael Clement and a fine strike from Augustine Matsitsiro to round it off.

Division 3 Cup, sponsored by Nick Chambers in Memory of his Father Chris 17-18 - Semi-Final

Hampton Magna 4 Lillington Juniors 2
Magna booked a spot in the Division 3 Cup final but they had to come from behind after Dimitar Velikov had put Juniors ahead on 9 minutes. It was all second half stuff then as Magna took control. Daljeet Johal , Josh Tiff , Ashley Turnbull and Charlie Faulkner doing the damage. Jason Hall got the Juniors consolation on 80 minutes.

We move on to League Action now and start as usual with Division 1

Bishops Itchington 5 Harbury Albion 1
Josh Turton and Jason Bradshaw had Bishops 2-0 up in 15 minutes, but a Thomas O’Callaghan strike made it interesting, pulling Harbury back into it before half time. Bishops took control in the second half with strikes from Rob Herdman , Joel Bennett and Ryan Leahy . Bishops close the gap at the top of the table to two points and Harbury remain rooted to the bottom.

Leamington Hibernians 4 HRI Wellesbourne 1
A Jack Marsden brace and singles from Jack Avery and Matthew Houghton were too much for the Veg Boys and an Andy Tomlin strike on 85 minutes was small consolation here.

On to Division 2

Heathcote Athletic 0 Real Barston 6
David Jolly led the way here with a hat trick supported by goal from Matthew Gillett, Samuel Chapman and Dave Banks . Real move into third spot in the League.

On to Division 4

Joiners Arms 1 Princethorpe 2
Princethorpe move into second in the table but The Joiners made them sweat. A Maciej Radziszewski strike on 20 minutes had the Joiners in front , until Charles Bush popped up with an equaliser on 60 minutes. Jack Fraser grabbed an 80th minute winner for Princethorpe.
