The results and goals from this weeks games that were not cancelled due to the weather.

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 10 November 2019. With the very wet conditions we are fortunate to still have some fixtures played. We start as usual with Cup Competitions and this week that means the Division 2 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by friends of Rowan Fitzgerald - Semi-Final

Hampton Magna 2 Real Barston 4
This was nip and tuck until very late on. Magna took the lead through Adam Timlin on 20 minutes but Barston were level 5 minutes later through Robert Jolly. It stayed that way until the second half when on 60 minutes James McDowell struck to put Barston ahead. This time it was Magna who responded and Joseph Fisher struck within 5 minutes to bring it all square again. With only 10 minutes left Matthew Gillett popped up to put Barston back in front and with Magna chasing the game Andrew Edgar sealed the win with a 90th minute clincher. Barston go through to the Division 2 Cup Final.

We move on to League action now and the only remaining games are both from Division 4.
HRI Wellesbourne Res 6 Long Itchington Reserves 0
The Long Men stay rooted at the foot of the table after the Veg boys did the slicing and dicing here. James Smith led the way with a hat-trick. His first was also fastest goal of the day lobbing the keeper on 8 minutes. Jack White made it 2 – 0 with another lob after a neat quick free kick just before the half hour mark. Vitor Machado made it 3 – 0 just before half time, taking on his fullback and slotting past the keeper. The Long Men came out fighting second half but The Long Men held tight, then an eight minute spell crushed the visitors. White grabbed his second followed two minutes later by Smith who got his second, and with a classy finish grabbed his hat-trick six minutes later. The Long Men were constantly working hard but despite looking good on the ball failed to produce any rewards for their efforts. It was all done and HRI take the points.

Radford Albion 3 Khalsa Reserves 1
Jamie Lee started this off with a Penalty on 10 minutes. A brace from Luke Warby before half time were then enough to take the points. Khalsa battled in the second half and had chances but Albion held on to take the points.
