All the results and goals from this weeks games.

Weekly round-up for Sunday 3 November 2019. We have plenty of Cup action to start with and we go straight to the Division 4 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by Spa Trophies - Round 2

Sands United 0 Warwickshire Police 1
A tight game here and an early double save by the Cops keeper kept them level. It took a late deflected shot from Chris Smith to break the deadlock and that’s how it stayed. The Cops go into the next round.


Warwick Boar 9 (nine) Napton 1

Table Toppers Boar were made to work for this one and it was only 2 - 1 at the break. The second half was all Boar with 7 goals without reply, 4 of which came from Marc Passey in a devastating 17 minute spell. Nicholas Lanau-Atkinson grabbed a brace , Adam Edwards , Jason Jones and Thomas Williams got the others. Taylor Allen with the Napton consolation. Boar go into the hat.

We move on to the Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 2019-20 - Preliminary Round
Khalsa Reserves 3 HRI Wellesbourne 4

The Veg boys were 0 - 3 up after 35 minutes here through Sam Mitchell and a Samuel Pye brace, but Ricky Fletcher pulled one back for Khalsa just before the break. Grajdieru Vasile then got a second for Khalsa shortly after half time and the Veg boys were on the rack. With 15 minutes to go George Crawford popped up to restore the two goal advantage. Bruno Seguin then grabbed another for Khalsa with two minutes left but the Veg boys held on to go into the next round.

Leamington FC Vets 15 (FIFTEEN) HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 0
The fastest goal of the day here from Ross Jackson on 3 minutes and that was literally just the beginning as Jackson rounded off his tally with his tenth goal in the 89th minute. (5 goals in each half). The last 3 coming in a 4 minute spell. Ros Brown chipped in with a brace. Steven Howkins , Michael Blackstock and Jorma Seabourne got the others. The Vets progress.

Long Itchington Reserves 1 Leam Hibs Reserves 4
An Alexander Mitchell brace supported by Claudio Silva and Jason Lee did the damage here as Mark Larner popped up to grab a late consolation for the Long Men.

We move on to League matches now and start as usual in Division 1

Heathcote Athletic 2 Bishops Itchington 1
Heathcote leapfrog Bishops in the table with this win. New signing Guy Pearson on target with a brace and Johnny Adair with the reply for Bishops.


Kineton S&SC 1 Westlea Wanderers 10 (ten)

Westlea were always in control here. Brady Floyd led the way with a hat-trick. Followed by a brace for Martin Hutchcox. And the others were shared between Joe Wright, Scott O'Loughlin, Shae O'Loughlin, Elliott Powell and Harry Jervis . Kineton nicked a consolation through Jamie Vadasz. Westlea sit unbeaten at the Top of the table.

We move on to Division 2

Bishops Tachbrook FC 3 Ettington Rovers 2
A ding dong battle here as Lewis Timms put Tachbrook ahead just after half time. Harry Ford levelled 10 minutes later, only for Timms to restore the lead 4 minutes after that. Dylan Timms popped one in with 10 minutes to go to make it 3 - 1. Ettington struck back through Glen Matthew with three minutes left on the clock but Bishops held on to take the points.

We move on to Division 3

VTS Warwick 1 Blackdown 2
Two early goals from Adam Hughes and Ashley Bradbrook had put Blackdown in control. That’s how it stayed until 65 minutes when Callum Yeomans scored to put VTS back in it. Blackdown held on to take the points and consolidate second spot in the table.

We finish as usual with Division 4

Castle Rangers 5 Foresters 0
Paul Saunders with the second fastest goal of the day here on 4 minutes. He grabbed his second 2 minutes after the break. George Green, Nicholas Bolitho and Callum Pickering on target for the others.
