All the results and goals from this week.

Weekly Round Up for Sunday 1st December 2019. Yet again we lost a lot of fixtures due to the weather but we still have a few games to report. We start as usual with the Cup Competitions and this week that means the Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 2019-20 - Preliminary Round

Long Itchington 4 Bishops Itchington 3

The Division 2 Long Men coming out on top here over their neighbours Bishops from Division 1. Thomas O’Callaghan grabbed a hat-trick for Bishops and still ended up on the losing side. Reese Sangha had put The Long Men 2 – 0 up by half time with a brace of his own. O’Callaghan pulled one back 10 minutes into the second half , but up popped Sam Crawford to restore the 2 goal advantage. Eleven minutes later O’Callaghan got his second, but with only 5 minutes left on the clock Mark Larner again restored the two goal advantage for the Long Men. O’Callaghan got his hat-trick right at the end but it was too late and Long Itchington go into the hat for the next round.

We move on to Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 2019-20 - Round 1

Real Barston 3 Khalsa 4

Another losing hat-trick here and this time it also includes the fastest goal of the day from Ben Wheeler on 10 minutes. He had sealed his hat-trick within 30 minutes. In the same 30 minutes Sukhraj Nijjar had also grabbed a brace to make it 3 – 2. Dalveer Varaich then popped up with a very late equaliser and it looked as though we were going to penalty kicks. Unfortunately for Real Barston an own goal in the 93rd minute took the tie to Khalsa who are in the hat for the next round.

We move on to League action and start in Division 2

Hampton Magna 1 Bishops Tachbrook 5

A sole Adam Timlin strike the only consolation for Magna here as Bishops went home with the points . Drew-Lewis Smith started it off on 25 minutes , followed by Lewis Timms and Elliot Ricardo who gave Tachbrook a 3 – 0 advantage by half time. Dean Pugh added a brace with goals on 60 and 80 minutes to wrap it up. Tachbrook close the gap at the top of the table.

Lillington Juniors 3 Radford Albion 2

A game of two halves here as Albion scored twice in the first half through Luke Swinson and Jamie Lee to lead at half time. The second half then belonged to Juniors although they left it late. Jordan Newbold pulled one back just after the hour mark. Ryan Morris then had Juniors level within another 10 minutes, and with three minutes left on the clock up stepped Jack Brogan to break Albion hearts

And we finish as usual with Division 4

HRI Wellesbourne Res 3 Napton 0

The Veg boys peeled open Napton here and were 2 – 0 up inside 26 minutes. Napton continued to fight but failed to create chances and it was no surprise when Andy Tomlin stuck a third away on the hour mark. The Veg boys leapfrog Napton in the Table and move up to 6th spot.
