All the results and goals from this weeks games

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 27 January 2019. We start as usual with the Cup Competitions and that means The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 4

Bishops Itchington 0 Leam Hibs Reserves 2
A Cup upset here with Hibs reserves from Division 4 progressing into the next round leaving Division 1 Bishops behind. It was tight in the first half and remained scoreless until Andwayne Taylor popped up on 57 minutes to open the Hibs account. It stayed that way until Liam Bullimore grabbed a second for Hibs to seal the victory on 88 minutes.

Leamington FC Veterans 0 Westlea Wanderers 4
This was a close one until the latter stages. Westlea then took control and stuck 4 goals in 20 minutes to wrap it up. Jamie Webb, Jamie Coleman and a brace from Henry Leaver doing the damage.

We move on to The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 3
Real Barston 0 Leamington Hibernians 2

The Hibs first team may be a round behind the Reserves but they also progress. Lance Clarke and Connor Carson on target to take the tie.

We change Competitions now and it’s on to the Cancer Research UK Charity Invitation Supplementary Cup 2018-19 - Round 2
HRI Wellesbourne 7 (seven) Heathcote Athletic 2

A brace each for Vitor Machado and Guy Allen. George Crawford , Sam Mitchell and Samuel Pye getting the others for the Veg Boys. Nicholas Keenan and Anthony Batchelor getting the Heathcote consolations.

We move on to League Action now and we start with Division 1

Lillington Juniors 0 Khalsa 4
Juniors were in this one until just before half time. Luke Lindsay popped up to put Khalsa ahead . Then 5 minutes into the second half Sukhraj Nijjar made it 0 – 2. Anvinder Thiara and Sukhraj Heer joined in on the act to complete the scoring. Khalsa remain top of the table with points on the board. The chasing group have games in hand, but it’s tight.

We move on to Division 2

Dynamo Leamington 0 Long Itchington 0
A replay here of the Cup match and this one was tight as well. No goals this time.

Ettington Rovers 0 Khalsa Reserves 1
Another tight one here with the deciding goal coming from Vasile Grazdieru.

Radford Albion 1 Kineton S&SC 6
Andy Pender on target for the Albion consolation but Kineton had too much here, as James Keller grabbed a brace inside half an hour, Callum Graham , Liam Naven-Jones, Mark Sanseverino and Max Coton grabbed the others. Kineton remain clear at the top of the table.

We move on to Division 3
Chadwick End 6 Castle Rangers 0

It was one way traffic here as Niall Grace led the way with a hat-trick. Connor McAndrew helped himself to a brace and Paddy Grace got the other.


Harbury 5 Bishops Tachbrook 5

A hat-trick here for Adam Knight from Bishops, but the King of the Castle was Conor Smith who checked in 4 (four) for Harbury. Ryan Butler got the other for Harbury. Dean Pugh and Jamie Rossiter got the others for Tachbrook. It ended in a stalemate. Harbury remain in Top Slot but Bishops are only one point behind with games in hand.

VTS Warwick 2 Hampton Magna 4
A Thomas Scott brace was not enough here for VTS as Magna turned on the style in the second half. Ashley Turnbull lodged a brace, Sunil Nand and Travis Lea getting the others. Magna move up two slots in the League to close in on Chadwick.

Warwick Printing 5 Liberal Club C 0
Kyle King helped himself to a hat-trick. Nicholas Ford and Hayden Barnett got the others. The Printers start to edge up the table.

We finish as usual in Division 4

Blackdown 2 Chadwick End Reserves 2
Blackdown remain top of the table after this game but it’s getting tight. Jamie Campton had put Blackdown ahead but two goals in three minutes saw Chadwick take the lead before half time, with strikes by Ryan Helliker and Steven Ebdon . It looked as if all three points were on their way to the villagers until up popped Scott Hughes with three minutes left to salvage a point for Blackdown.

Stockton 2 Lillington Juniors Reserves 0
Ryan Barnard and Steven Deaming on target for Stockton.

Warwick Boar 1 Stockton United 2
Fastest goal of the day here from Ashley Braikin (5 mins) supported by one from Will Wall as United keep up the pressure on Blackdown at the top of the table. Lewis Wilson grabbing the Boar consolation with 5 minutes left.
