Sunday 28 October 2018. Our weekly round-up starts as usual with the Cup Competitions.
The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 2

Leamington Hibernians 3 Harbury 2
Connor Carson takes the headlines here with a hat-trick in 39 minutes which was enough to seal the win. Harbury pulled one back after 25 minutes through James Hancocks, and Andy Cahill grabbed another after 70 minutes to make it interesting at the end, but Hibs held on.

Cancer Research UK Charity Invitation Cup 2018-19 - Preliminary Round

Dynamo Leamington 0 Radford Semele 3
A Mark Anderson Brace and a single from Jack Sidgwick were enough here to see Radford through.

Hampton Magna 6 Lillington Juniors Reserves 2
Magna were too strong here for Juniors Reserves. Jack Rees started it off scoring on 5 minutes. Thomas Wyatt grabbed a brace. Sam Perry, Jack Mancini and Michael Jefferson getting the others.

Westlea Wanderers 10 (ten) Heathcote Athletic 2
A John Aston brace was the only consolation here for Heathcote as Westlea cruised into the next round. Neil Stacey and Ryan Woodward with a brace apiece. Then 6 other Westlea players also scored. James Footman, Callum Bell, Craig Watkin, Chris Hanrahan, Jake Montgomery and Ryan Palmer .

Castle Rangers 0 Bishops Tachbrook 1

Radford Albion 2 Long Itchington 2
A Jack Dent brace wasn’t enough here for the Long Men as Albion also bagged a brace and went through after penalties.


Real Barston 4 Leamington FC Vets 0

Barston progress into the next round. A Dan Zoka brace with James McDowell and Oliver Stocks getting the others.

We now move on to league Action and start as usual with Division 1

Lillington Juniors 2 AFC Warwick 3
AFC maintain top spot with a close call against lowly Juniors who made it a fight all the way. AFC took a two goal lead into the second half through David Jones and Joshua Marshall but strikes from Filippo Mannina and Matt Edwards made it level on 80 minutes. Karl Goddard broke Juniors hearts 3 minutes later and AFC hung on to take the points.

Moving on to Division 2

HRI Wellesbourne 3 Khalsa Reserves 2
The Veg boys keep the pressure on at the top with three points here, but were made to fight all the way. Arthur Bradley, Dale Francis and Samuel Pye on target for the Wellesbourne lads, Luke Warby and Morgan Genthialon getting the Khalsa replies.


We move on to Division 3

Princethorpe 5 VTS Warwick 3
Chris Bates on target here for his hat-trick supported by a George Jones brace were enough for Princethorpe to take the points. Joseph Fisher and a Thomas Scott brace for VTS.

Finally we move to Division 4

Joiners Arms 0 Blackdown 2
Blackdown maintain top spot with these three points. James Tighe and Jamie Campton wrapping it up. Joiners stay rooted top the bottom.

Stockton United 3 Chadwick End Reserves 0

Will Wall and Kody Neal assisted by an own goal were enough to wrap the points up here for United.


Whitnash United 2 Leam Hibs Reserves 4

Kyle Needham put Whitnash ahead after only 2 minutes here and James Walsh followed with a second after 25 minutes. Hibs were too strong and notched 4 themselves
