The results and goals from this weeks games

The Weekly round-up for Sunday 16 December 2018. We lost several fixtures due to the heavy rain over the weekend but we start as usual with the Cup Competitions and firstly The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 3

Bishops Itchington 9 Lillington Juniors 0
It was all one way here as Bishops ruled the roost. Joel Bennett and Johnny Adair led the way with hat-tricks, Tom O'Callaghan grabbed a brace and Adam Miles finished the tally.

HRI Wellesbourne 3 Khalsa 3
Khalsa were up 0-2 here by the half hour, but The Veg boys fought back and were leading 3-2 with thirty minutes left on the clock. Manraj Khangura popped up to make it all square and take the tie to penalties. A Guy Allen brace and Dale Francis on target for the Veg boys, Manjinder Dhaliwal and Dave Benton getting the other Khalsa goals. Khalsa took the tie winning 1 - 3 on penalties.


VTS Warwick 1 Leamington Hibs Reserves 3

Thomas Scott on target for VTS but a Brandon Hoey brace and a Harry Davies penalty were enough to see Hibs into the next round.

We move on to the Cancer Research UK Charity Invitation Supplementary Cup 2018-19 - Round 1

Long Itchington 2 Heathcote Athletic 5
Heathcote left it late here, not getting onto the scoresheet until 50 minutes, then 3 goals in a brisk 10 minute spell. Owen Davies, James Brewitt and John Aston a brace , on target. Anthony Batchelor got the last with 10 minutes to go.


We move on to the Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 1

Castle Rangers 3 Dynamo Leamington 1
Lee Watton and a Matt Wix brace were enough here to see Rangers through Joseph Gomez on target for the Dynamo consolation.

We move on to League action and start as usual with Division 1

Radford Semele 2 Westlea Wanderers 7
Wanderers led 1-2 at half time but took control in the second half. Lee Scott grabbed four, Ryan Woodward a brace and the other from Scott O’Loughlin. Radford scorers were Jamie Duffy and Mark Anderson.

On to Division 2

Khalsa Reserves 0 Radford Albion 4
A Sion Humphreys brace and singles from Brodie Cullinan and Houghton Paul were enough to give Albion the points here and they move up to second in the table.


And finally we move to Division 4

Lillington Juniors Reserves 0 Stockton 4
Gary McDonnell , Daniel Brown and Steven Deaming on target for Stockton who were assisted with an own goal to round it off.
