Sean Horgan Cup Final

By Mark Rowlatt

HRI Wellesbourne success continues. Matty NUTT has a blinder.

Racing Warwick played hosts to the Sean Horgan Cup Final on Thursday evening. A decent crowd saw a thriller where Murphy's took control with an own goal following a monster throw in. Matty Nutt slicing his clearance into his own net. HRI kept plugging away and equalised just before half time. This time NUTT notching at the right end . The long throw tactics worked in the second half when Dave Jones popped up at the back post to finish off the flick on to make it 2-1 to Murphy's. Matty Nutt then popped up to score his second for HRI with 10 minutes left on the clock.
Penalties decided the tie and HRI took the honours 4-3 .
The Cup was presented by Gary Vella Chairtman of Racing Warwick FC
