The Latest Weekly round-up

All the latest results and goals from this weekend.

Our weekly round-up for Sunday 7 October 2018 starts as usual with the Cup Competitions.
Division 1 Cup, sponsored by Anthony Eden Gents Hairdresser 2018-19 - Round 1

Westlea Wanderers 2 Lillington Juniors 2 (5 - 6 after penalties).
Juniors claimed the biggest scalp of the weekend. Jordan Bedford had put Juniors ahead on 13 minutes only for Lee Scott to pull Westlea back into it 5 minutes later . Juniors went ahead again before half time through David Jones and it was only an 80th minute strike from Chris Hanrahan that got Westlea back on terms. So it went to penalties and Juniors held their nerve in sudden death.

Division 2 Cup, sponsored by Rye Hill Service Station 2018-19 - Round 2
Dynamo Leamington 4 Ettington Rovers 1
Dynamo were always in control here with goals from Aaron Rowley, Luke McDougall, Gavin Fraser and Joseph Gomez . The Ettington consolation on 85 minutes from Mathew Toms.


Long Itchington 7 Kineton S &SC 1

Sam Crawford just managed to get his hat-trick in here, grabbing his third on 89 minutes. The Long Men also had Charles Bush, Jamie Bodfish, Elliott Parasmo and Jack Dent to thank for their other goals. James Keller on target for the Kineton consolation.

Real Barston 1 Radford Albion 3
James McDowell had put Barston ahead but Albion woke up in the second half. Sion Humphreys pulled them level and a quick brace from Houghton Paul took Albion through.

Division 3 Cup, sponsored by Nick Chambers in Memory of his Father Chris 2018-19 - Round 2
Bishops Tachbrook FC 2 VTS Warwick 5

A game full of braces, but VTS had the teeth to take the round. Ruben Bastos on target for his brace for Tachbrook . Iain Billing and Roberto Ciuffini with a brace apiece for VTS supported by the odd one from Joseph Fisher.

Castle Rangers 2 Hampton Magna 3
Rangers were 2-0 up, but Magna copied Man United and did their own miracle come back with three of their own. Travis Lea , Thomas Wright and Michael Jefferson doing the damage. Daniel Hargreaves and Ethan Allies-Proctor on target for Rangers.

Chadwick End 7 Harbury 0
Chadwick were always in control here, as Paddy Grace led the way with a hat-trick in 15 second half minutes. The damage had already been done with first half strikes by Niall Grace, David Dellenty and Rhys Edwards. Harry McKinney also getting in on the act late on.

Princethorpe 1 Liberal Club C 2
The goals were all in the first half here as Liberals progress to the next round. George Jones on target for Princethorpe but goals from David Griffin and Matthew Bemrose were enough for the Liberals.

Division 4 Cup, sponsored by Spa Trophies 2018-19 - Round 2
HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 3 Chadwick End Reserves 6

Chadwick were 3 up here before the Veg boys struck. Arundeep Sodhi and Jaspreet Sodhi made it close at half time, but three more strikes after half time sealed it before Kristian Rheams got a late consolation Thomas Tarbuck led the Chadwick line with a hat-trick, Thomas Wale , Cameron Parker and Steven Ebdon getting the others.


Joiners Arms 2 Blackdown 3

Blackdown go through here but it was a close one. Joiners were on top at half time, through Maciej Radziszewski and Nuno Da Silva, after Jamie Campton had put Blackdown ahead. Second half strikes from Adam Hughes and Brad Taylor swung the tide for Blackdown.

Richie Davies , Jake Cope and Alex Boulden doing the damage here as Stockton progress

[b]We move on to the remaining League games and start as usual with Division 1.
Khalsa 5 AFC Warwick 2 [/b]
AFC took the lead on 8 minutes through Alex Sharp, but Khalsa took control. A brace apiece for Sukhraj Heer and Luke Lindsay , with a single from Dave Benton were too much for AFC who grabbed a late consolation through Samuel Opie. With other sides involved in Cup matches Khalsa take top spot in the table.

On to Division 4
Lillington Juniors Reserves 1 Stockton United 6

Reece Robbins grabbing Juniors consolation here, but Stockton ruled the roost. The goals were shared around as Kody Neal, Dan Cornes, Ben Harrison, Jordan Childs , Mitch Coleman and James Farmer were on target. United’s unbeaten League run continues and they sit comfortably at the top of the table.
