Sunday 23 September 2018 The latest results from this week and we start as usual with the Cup Competitions, and this week that means the First Round of the The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19
Heathcote Athletic 5 Lillington Jnrs Reserves 1

Heathcote were too strong here as John Aston grabbed a brace, Owen Davies, James Brewitt and Nathan Cross the others.

Joiners Arms 0 Bishops Tachbrook FC 11 (eleven)
Bishops overwhelmed Joiners here with 7 Tachbrook players on the scoresheet. Lewis Christian led the way with a hat-trick. Karl McGuire and Dean Pugh a brace each and singles from Ruben Bastos, Drew-Lewis Smith , Roberto Ciurlia and Jake Crowther.

Kineton S&SC 15 Whitnash United 5
An amazing game here as Kineton smashed in 15, but Whitnash grabbed 5 themselves. 4 goals in the first 8 minutes had Kineton 3-1 up but the Liam Naven-Jones party had just begun. His final tally was 6 (six) supported by a brace each from Lawrie Kenall and James Keller. Samuel Singleton, Mark Rooney, Joshua Wyatt and Mark Ling got the others along with an own goal. Whitnash had a sudden flourish after half time and banged home 3 of their own in 10 minutes, but it was never going to be enough. Abhishek Paul, a brace from Luca Vergari , and singles from Vitor Jesus and Sarko Hassani rounded off the Whitnash consolations.

We move on to the Cancer Research UK Charity Invitation Cup 2018-19 - Preliminary Round
Ettington Rovers 1 Real Barston 3

Barston took the honours here. A Sam Canty strike on 25 minutes kept Ettington in the hunt as Barston had taken the lead with two early strikes from Adria Olaya and Matthew Gillett. Victory was sealed when Gillet struck his second just after half time.

HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 0 Long Itchington 2
Oladeji Sorinola and Sam Crawford on target here as the long Men go into the draw for the next round.

Liberal Club C 10 (ten) Warwick Boar 0
Our Third game into double figures and this one led by Joe Forster who grabbed his hat-trick in 19 short minutes. Supported by a brace apiece from Matty Bemrose, Ryan Yearsley and Jack Reeves. Matt Holland got the odd one.

With the Cup action wrapped up we now move on to League Action and as usual we start at the top with Division 1

AFC Warwick 5 Bishops Itchington 4
Bishops were 0-3 up in 35 minutes, Andy Yeates Johnny Adair and Joel Bennett getting the goals, but Daniel Long pulled one back just before half time, only for Bennett to restore the three goal advantage on 49 minutes. AFC woke up and slotted another 4 in 28 minutes through Matthew Saunders, Filippo Mannina and Samuel Opie and Long then rounded it all off by grabbing the winner on 88 minutes.

Khalsa 2 Radford Semele 3
Another tight game here where Radford had George Ayley to thank for a 2 minute goal to start them off. George Billington and Jamie Duffy had the villagers 0-3 up until the 65th minute, when Talveen Nagi pulled one back swiftly followed by Sukhraj Heer 5 minutes later. Radford held on to take the points

Lillington Juniors 0 Westlea Wanderers 1
Westlea were made to fight all the way here and a single goal from Michael Ellis was all that separated these two.

We move on to Division 2

Leamington FC Veterans 2 HRI Wellesbourne 3
Ding Dong here as the Veg boys went 2 ahead. The Vets pulled it back to 2-2 but Dale Francis popped up on 90 minutes to steal the points . Ross Jackson and Paul Holland for the Vets. George Crawford and Samuel Pye getting the others for HRI.

Radford Albion 3 Khalsa Reserves 1
Daniel Burden, Kurtis Wilde and Sion Humphreys on target for Albion. Mundeep Dhaliwal grabbing the Khalsa consolation.

We move on to Division 3

Chadwick End 1 Warwick Printing 4
Connor McAndrew on target for Chadwick. Josh Tiff , Luke Young and a brace from Jake McCarthy-Phillips were enough to see the Printers home.

Princethorpe 0 Hampton Magna 2
Travis Lea and Thomas Wyatt strikes here were enough for Magna.

VTS Warwick 6 Castle Rangers 0
Joseph Fisher and Thomas Scott each got a brace and singles from Iain Billing and Jamie Leahy were enough here as VTS win the battle of the bottom 2.

Finally we move to Division 4

Blackdown 2 Stockton 0
Blackdown continue their good start with goals from Adam Hughes and Cameron Coutts enough to take the points here and keep them at the top of the table.
