All the results and goals from this week's games

Weekly report for Sunday 20 October 2019. We have a full house of Cup matches this week so we start with the Cancer Research UK Charity Invitation Cup 2019-20 - Preliminary Round

Bishops Itchington 2 Warwick Printing 2

Hayden Barnett put the Printers ahead on 20 minutes but Josh Turton had levelled before half-time. With ten minutes left Turton grabbed a second to put Bishops in the driving seat but up popped David Wanless two minutes later to make it all square. That’s how it finished and so to Penalty kicks.
Warwick Printing win 3 - 5 on penalties.

Engine FC 3 Hampton Magna 1

An upset here as Div 3 Engine take the tie over Div 2 Magna. Saul Dawson started the Engine on 7 minutes and that’s how the first half stayed. Adam Timlin grabbed an equaliser 10 minutes into the second half, but two goals in a 7 minute spell from Rhys Tummey and Gavin Dhesi sealed the game for the Engine, who progress into the next round.


Ettington Rovers 4 Dynamo Leamington 4

A real Ding Dong here. Rovers were 2 – 0 up inside 18 minutes with strikes from Glen Matthew and Amine Bouhali-Levallois . It didn’t stay that way for long as Ash Rowley struck back with a brace before half-time to level the score. The second half was just as intense as Marco Ciuffini and Martin Lucey then netted to put Dynamo 2 - 4 ahead. With only 11 minutes to go it looked in the bag. Up popped Bouhali-Levallois with two goals in 3 minutes to make his hat-trick and take the tie to penalty kicks.
Ettington Rovers win 4 - 2 on penalties and go into the next round.


Foresters 0 Leamington FC Vets 11 (ELEVEN)

Equal Fastest goal of the day in 1 (one) minute for Ross Jackson here as the Vet’s went on the rampage . The Division 4 side were torn apart as Jackson netted 6 times. The rest were shared around with Andrew McGuire, David Care, Mark Cheung , Ros Brown and Michael Blackstock getting on the sheet. The Vet’s go into the hat.

HRI Wellesbourne Res 2 Blackdown 2

Nip and Tuck here as the Div 4 side went ahead with a Carl Ellard goal on 13 minutes. Scott Hughes pulled it level on 35 minutes but James Smith gave the Veg boys the lead again before half-time. Blackdown have a late Ashley Bradbrook strike on 75 minutes to thank to keep them in the game, and that’s how it finished. So to Penalty kicks.
Blackdown win 3 - 4 on penalties. Blackdown into the next round.


Khalsa Reserves 2 Khalsa 3

The bells were ringing here as well with the Ding Dong scoring. The reserves were 0 – 2 down inside 10 minutes through Sukhraj Nijjar and Luke Lindsay. Gurdeep Dulay and Sukhraj Heer then scored to pull the Reserves level before half-time. That’s how it stayed until 4 minutes from time when Josh Mann popped up to nick the win for the First team. Khalsa go into the next round.


Liberal Club C 3 Bishops Tachbrook FC 4

Two goals in the first 11 minutes from Shamir Entezar set Bishops on their way. Drew-Lewis Smith made it 3 just after half-time and Lewis Timms sealed it with 2 minutes to go.

Lillington Juniors 4 Castle Rangers 1

Juniors had too much here for Rangers. Ryan Morris helped himself to a hat-trick. Jordan Newbold had got the first for Juniors. Juniors progress.


Long Itchington 8 (eight) VTS Warwick 0

Top of Division 2 Long Itchington were too strong here for Div 3 VTS. Sam Crawford helped himself to 4 which included a first half hat-trick. Elliott Parasmo grabbed a brace. William Bradbury and a last minute goal from James Bolitho were the other scorers. Long Itchington go into the next round.

Radford Albion 3 Stockton 0

Sion Humphries with equal fastest goal of the day in 1 (one) minute as Albion from Div 2 put Stockton to the sword. Humphries got his second later on, and Brodie Cullinan added the third. Radford progress.


Warwick Boar 6 Kineton Sports and Social 3

A giant killing here as Boar from Division 4 progress at the expense of their Division 1 opponents. Marc Passey led the way with a hat-trick. Thomas Williams got a brace. Adam Edwards with the other. James Keller and a brace from Jamie Vadasz were the Kineton scorers. Boar are through to the next round.

Warwickshire Police 0 Long Itchington Reserves 2

An all Division 4 tie here and bottom of the Table Long Itch overcame Table toppers The Cops. A goal in each half from Mark Larner was enough as the Long Men were the better side on the day . Long Itch progress.


Westlea Wanderers 5 Napton 0

Division 4 Napton put up a valiant fight here and it remained 0 – 0 at half time as Westlea were held at bay. The second half told a different story as the Division 1 side scored 5 without reply. Martin Hutchcox grabbed a brace. Craig Watkin, Scott Hammond and Neil Stacey getting the others. Westlea go into the hat.


Whitnash United 0 Heathcote Athletic 2

It took two late goals here for Heathcote from Jonny Hawker and Kristoffer Burbury to win this one. The Division 1 side progress at the cost of their Division 4 opponents.

Finally we move on to the Division 3 Cup 2019-20, sponsored by Nick Chambers in memory of his father Chris - Round 2

Chadwick End Reserves 2 Princethorpe 1

Goals from Steven Ebdon and Tom Tarbock either side of half-time were enough here as Chadwick move into the next Round of the Division 3 Cup.

A reminder that the Maurice Billington Cup Final will be held next Friday at Racing Club Warwick . 1st November.
