A Round Up of today's results and goals.

Weekly Round-up for Sunday 4 November 2018. We start as usual with the Cup Competitions.
The Tracey Thomas Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 3
AFC Warwick 1 Westlea Wanderers 3
A Marco Oliver goal on 5 minutes put AFC in front, but Westlea had turned things around before half time through Joe Wright and Jake Byrne. A Ryan Palmer strike finished AFC off late on.

Liberal Club C 1 Khalsa 3

Michael Johnson with the quickest goal of the day on 2 minutes put Khalsa ahead. Stuart Cooper made it 2 nil. It stayed that way until 75 minutes when a goal at each end rounded off the scoring. Matthew Bemrose for Liberals, and Suroush Lisle-Pourzyaie getting Khalsa’s third.

Warwick Printing 6 Stockton United 0

It was all one way here. Jake McCarthy-Phillips led the way with a brace. Nicholas Ford, Kyle King, Hayden Barnett and Cory Turner on target for the others.

Leamington Referees' Association George Dutton Challenge Cup 2018-19 - Round 1
Bishops Itchington 6 Real Barston 2
Barston were 0- 2 up in 15 minutes but Bishops struck back with three of their own before half time. Dave Jolly and Matt Gillet for Barston. Joe Williams , Adam Miles and an own goal for Bishops. The second half belonged to Bishops who had Tom O'Callaghan , Tom Cooper and Stefan Grudzinski to thank for the rest.


Chadwick End 1 Radford Semele 2

The home side scored first here through Connor McAndrew. Radford levelled before half time but it took a Mark Anderson strike on 72 minutes to take the tie. Iain Grove getting the other Radford Goal.

Castle Rangers 8 (eight) HRI Wellesbourne Reserves 0
A brace apiece for Jake Allies-Proctor, Lee Watton and Conor Warburton. Ethan Allies-Proctor and Darren Ratcliff getting the others in this one sided affair.

Harbury 5 Stockton 1
Harbury had this wrapped up netting all five in the first half. Andy Cahill got a brace, Brad McKinty, Daniel Quartermaine and Ryan Butler getting the others. Daniel Brown grabbed the Stockton consolation.


Radford Albion 5 Blackdown 3

A lot of first half action here as well. Jake Hills put Blackdown ahead on 5 minutes but Sion Humphreys levelled a minute later. Albion then struck 4 times without reply with a brace from Houghton Paul, Daniel Riley and Jamie Lee. Jamie Campton pulled one back just before half time. Albion kept it tight and held on despite a late consolation from Adam Hughes for Blackdown to make the last 30 minutes interesting.

We move on to League Action now and start in Division 2
HRI Wellesbourne 3 Heathcote Athletic 6

This was all about Nick Keenan. The youngster scored 5 with John Aston getting the other. Shamir Entezar , Sam Mitchell and Joseph Hackett getting the Veg boys consolation.


Khalsa Reserves 1 Dynamo Leamington 1

New signing Istuan Demeter jumped straight in with a goal on 20 minutes to put Khalsa ahead. It took an Ash Rowley penalty on 75 minutes to pull Dynamo level.


Kineton S&SC 3 Ettington Rovers 1

Kineton were in control of this local Derby.With goals from Liam Naven-Jones, James Keller and Joshua Wyatt. George Keaney got the Ettington consolation on 52 minutes.

Leamington FC Veterans 1 Long Itchington 2
The Long men have two late strikes from Conor Bennett to thank for the three points here, moving them up into second spot. Alan Robinson had put the Vets ahead.

On to Division 4
Joiners Arms 1 Lillington Juniors Res 6

Reserves take their first 3 points of the Season against lowly Joiners. Jamie Hickey grabbed a hat-trick, David Jones a brace and Reece Robbins got the other. Elton Dias was on target for Joiners late consolation. '

Warwick Boar 3 Leamington Hibs Res 4
Hibs were 3 up by 65 minutes until Steven Nollett pulled the Boar back into the game. Aiden Foley popped up to get his second of the game to restore Hibs three goal advantage . Two goals in 5 minutes from James Williams and Tommy Williams put the Boar back in the hunt, but Hibs held on to take the points. Harry Davies got the other two Hibs goals.

Whitnash United 0 Chadwick End Reserves 3
A Ryan Helliker brace and one from Robert James were enough here to see Chadwick take the points.

BCFA Sunday Cup

In other Cup news Leamington Hibs progressed into the next round of the BCFA Sunday Cup with an 0-8 thrashing of Penn Rovers in Wolverhampton. Connor Carson proving his boots are on fire with his third hat-trick on the bounce. Josh Bailey, Adam Johnson, Luke Swinnerton, Jack Marsden and Asley Kitchen getting the others.
