Leamington Hibs were crowned Birmingham Sunday Amateur Cup Champions following a dramatic finish at the Birmingham FA HQ on Sunday.
After a period of first-half pressure, Football Futures took the lead on 26 minutes through a Shane Lloyd header from a long throw into the box.
As the game drew to a close, Hibs equalised through Luke Swinnerton on 85 minutes, stabbing home into the bottom corner following a great header from Ashley Kitchen. Hibs had their tails up going into the penalty shoot out and won 4-3 with Carl Smedley coolly slotting home the winning Penalty. A special mention to Ryan Mason in goal for Hibs who pulled off some great saves during the match and a world class save in the penalty shoot out to give him the man of the match award.
